Our policies must prioritize the development and preservation of safe and affordable housing with a full continuum of diverse housing options.  Affordable housing initiatives not only address our moral imperative to build social equity but also contribute to the overall economic health of our community.

 Our community needs an integrated approach to behavioral health, mental health, substance abuse, and public safety. None of these issues can be addressed in isolation, the solutions require a broad network of support beyond treatment facilities and service providers.

 Our commitment to climate action must continue.  Future generations are dependent upon us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote multi-modal transportation, preserve green spaces, and facilitate a just transition.

The urgency of our time calls for bold action and by addressing these challenges comprehensively, we can create more effective and sustainable solutions.
